Scouting notes: Tusheti, June 2026

June in Tusheti is towers, sheep, and a road that has only just opened. We rode Shenako to Diklo to Dartlo, slept in the villages, and watched the horses on the evening pasture.

The Abano Pass decides the week. When it is open, the ride is on. When it is not, we wait. The country does not move for a calendar.
