Why we ride local horses

We ride the horses that already live on the route. Mongolian horses on the steppe, Criollo in Patagonia, Tushetian horses in the Caucasus, Kyrgyz horses on the high pastures.

They know the ground, the grass, and the weather. A horse brought in for the view does not. That is the whole argument.
